Willie Bell earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Francis Marion University in Florence, SC in 1975. Throughout his 23 year career at SRS, Willie has worked in multiple human resource capacities including staffing, HR operations and Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity. Willie has a diversity of experience while working in positions of increasing responsibility at SRS and other industries.
With regard to his current assignment, Willie has more than 30 years of proven management, leadership and technical expertise in EEO compliance, affirmative action planning and other areas of human resources.
As the EEO/Diversity Manager, Willie serves in an advisory capacity to site management to ensure that SRNS employment activities comply with anti-discrimination laws and equal employment opportunity is afforded to all qualified applicants and employees through implementation and execution of SRNS employment policies, procedures and practices.
Willie is also responsible for managing the site’s affirmative action program and providing strategic planning/program management of the diversity leadership initiative. Additional responsibilities include providing counsel to employees on potential discrimination/harassment concerns, investigating complaints of discrimination/harassment, interfacing with external agencies, and increasing employee awareness on EEO and diversity related topics.
